Wednesday Breakfast

After the early morning start the day before, I thought I would try to sleep early last night.

Thus, by 9.30pm, I was in bed, trying to find the elusive slumber that I so desperately needed. I must have dozed off around 10pm, but found myself up again at 11.30pm, barely 1 hour of rest. And that was the story the whole night through, until I finally saw 5am on the clock, and I was able to rush about 2 hour sleep thereafter.

I deliberately made my way to the club lounge for breakfast at 8.45am, as I knew that the breakfast at the ground floor main restaurant would offer wall to wall buffet spread. The club lounge served a small buffet spread that gave little to write about. I had a short link sausage, a triangular sausage patty, a piece of beef bacon, and just a spoonful of porridge. A few pieces of fruit rounded up the meal with my latte, and I was out the door.

My first appointment was a few blocks away, that would've cost me less than RM4, but the hotel had to send around their premier taxi with a flag down meter charge of RM4. I ended up paying RM9.40 for the trip. The return cost me RM3.60 with a round up to RM5.

The meeting did not seem promising, but I shall still count on His Favor to make all things work for the good of those who are called by His Name.

All in all, my days away from home have been blessed with the sweet sms~s from precious friends who have managed to take the sting out of the loss of my loved one.

The day has just begun.
